Anyone need a new pocket knife?
Pocket knives are really handy to have around, you never know when you are going to need one. They aren’t as necessary in our modern world as they were when you had to make things yourself because Home Depot wasn’t around yet.
When you’re camping they come in really handy, especially if it has a few extra gadgets built in like maybe a screwdriver. Although those extra gadgets can come in really handy, at times they also pose a problem. The problem is, that the more you cram in them the less likely they will fit in your pocket or at least be comfortable to carry.
The Swiss Army knife has always been known for having extra gadgets, but did you know that there is a Swiss Army knife that weighs over 2 pounds? Although it’s been around for a few years, I was totally unaware that the Wenger’s Giant Knife has an unbelievable 87 tools that can perform 141 different functions!
This knife is as awesome as it is ridiculous and it costs between $1,200 and $1,500! What started as a simple knife that was issued to Swiss soldiers to open cans and take their rifles apart, now has a really expensive big brother.
This thing has some really cool features though…like a flashlight and a laser pointer. If you play golf, you gotta have one because it has a club face cleaner and a divot tool. 🙂 …But, what may be the most useful tool of all, is for when you’re hanging out at the 19th hole, and one of your buddies pulls out a cigar, you can offer to cut it for him with it’s cigar cutter with double honed edges. (LOL)
I don’t know about you, but if I could justify it’s price I would have one in a display case. I would take it out a few times a year and just play with it and put it back in it’s case.
Yea, it’s that cool!
