I was reading an article from GoodSam about Route 66 and thought I’d share with it you guys. Route 66 is also known as the Will Rogers Highway or the Mother Road, it was one of the original highways in the U.S., was established 1926. The highway originally ran from Chicago, IL, and almost went from one end of the country to the other…ending in Santa Monica, CA, and it covered over 2,000 miles of dirt.
Route 66 highlights town along the way…I didn’t see Radiator Springs though. Radiator Springs was a town famous by music and television, most recently the animated movie, Cars. My kids love both of them and all the spin offs. If you haven’t seen them, check them out.
