The Loneliest National Parks…Go and visit them!!!

Lonely Less Traveled National Parks…

There are 58 national parks and another 300 or so areas that are controlled by the National Parks Service, not to mention all the State Parks that are in existence.

Yellowstone was established in 1872 as America’s first national park. It is one of the largest the most visited parks in the National System with a total of 3,468 square miles. It’s earned that right, of course…it has over 10,000 hydrothermal features, including over 300 geysers, in the park…among those, the infamous Old Faithful!! Yellowstone is located in Wyoming and stretches across into Montana and Idaho. However, if you don’t like crowds…avoid Yellowstone and read the article, on the next page, from camping.com about where you should go for a little less hectic visit!
